Fingal Toastmasters meetings are composed of approximately 30 people who meet every second Monday from 8.15 pm to 10.30 pm in Marine Hotel Sutton, Co.Dublin. Participants practice and learn skills by filling a meeting role, ranging from giving a prepared speech or an impromptu one to serving as timer, evaluator or grammarian.
There is no instructor; instead, each presentation and meeting is critiqued by a member in a positive manner, focusing on what was done right and what could be improved.
Good communicators tend to be good leaders. Developing presentation, listening, speaking and leadership skills are valuable attributes for everyone. Whether you want to deliver a report to your work colleagues, speak at a wedding or family gathering, Fingal Toastmasters can provide the training you need.
